Martha E. Causey

Martha E. Causey, 97, Forest Park, died Feb. 4, 2001. She was born Feb. 19, 1903 in Fairburn, Ga. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy A. Causey Sr. in 1957. She was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church, Forest Park, and was a member of the Forest Park Order of Eastern Star, Chapter #290, since 1957 and was an honorary member of the O. E. S. of Glenwood Hills, Chapter #438 since 1979. Services were held at the Forest Park First Baptist Church with interment at the College Park, Ga. Cemetery.
Survivors include sons, Roy A. Causey, Jr., Fayetteville; Al Gordon and Kay Causey, Blue Ridge, Ga.; a daughter, Dorothy L. Causey and Eugene Garner, Fayetteville; a brother, E. G. and Ruth Hammond, East Point; and a sister, Winnie Stansell, Decatur. There are 10 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great-granchildren.
Parkway Garden Chapel, Forest Park, was in charge.
