Bartlett Holmes Anderson, 55, of 589
State Road, Manomet, an architectural
designer, died suddenly on Friday, Sept.
4, at Jordan Hospital.
He was the husband of Joan L. (Fortini)
Anderson.
Mr. Anderson was born in Weymouth on
April 16, 1931, the son of Eudora F.
(Bartlett) Anderson and the late Russell
W. Anderson.
He graduated from Plymouth High School
with the Class of 1948 and Wentworth
Institute in 1954.
He worked at one time for Gaffney Assoc-
iates of Hyannis. At the time of his
death, he was an architectural designer
for Atlantic Design and Construction and
Air Systems Inc., of Plymouth.
A Korean veteran, Mr. Anderson was a
member of the Plymouth American Legion
Post 40 and a member of the Second Church
of Plymouth, Congregational, at Manomet.
Besides his wife, Joan, and his mother
Eudora F. Anderson of Plymouth, Mr.
Anderson leaves five children, Gary R.
Anderson of Manomet, Karen E. Cameron of
Arlington, Scott B. Anderson of Boca Raton,
Fla., and Sharon L. Richards and Susan K.
Anderson, both of Manomet; a brother Karl
R. Anderson of Manomet; and a sister,
Ariel Fantoni of Manomet, four grand-
children and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were conducted Tuesday
in Manomet Cemetery with the Rev. Russell
Gates of the Second Church of Plymouth,
Congregational officiating.
Bartlett-Garrity Funeral Home, Plymouth
made the arrangements.
