FAMILY SEARCH. When Gale Benjamin Dedrickson was born on 24 September 1929, in Spanish Fork, Utah, Utah, his father, Royal " B" Dedrickson, was 26 and his mother, Glenda Lee Chapman, was 21. He married Barbara Hiatt on 12 November 1952, in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah. He lived in Spanish Fork Election Precinct, Utah, Utah in 1940. PASSAGE. At his home in Spanish Fork from congestive heart failure, Monday, September 4, 2006 marked the completion of the life of Gale Benjamin Dedrickson.

A son of Royal Braithwaite and Glenda Lee Chapman Dedrickson, he graduated from Spanish Fork High School and the LDS seminary program. Receiving an Associate Degree from Utah Valley State College, he married Barbara Hiatt November 12, 1952 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Employed with U S Steel, Kaiser Steel and McNally's Mountain State Steel, he owned and operated B and G Frosthop in Spanish Fork. Retiring from Nature's Sunshine Products, Gale enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting, camping and being with his family. An active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he served in several bishoprics and as High Priest Group leader. A great example, he love all children and was a grandfather to all.

Surviving family members include his wife, Barbara; children: Rick (Lorraine), Janna (Harley), Scott (Gwen), Brad (Gina), Julie (Ron), Jenifer, Andra (Kent); 27 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; two sisters, Maureen (Ken) and Marsha. Predeceased by his parents and brother, Royal Dedrickson.
