Helen was born on Dec. 26, 1930, to Joseph and Jessie Maxwell Benedict in Yakima, Wash.
At the age of 1, her family moved to Klamath Falls (South Poe Valley) where she grew up.
In 1947, she married Robert Reeves in Reno, Nev. They were married for 64 years. Helen worked for the Klamath County School District for 34 years as a cook at Fairhaven Elementary School with her sister, Effie.
Helen enjoyed collecting antiques, working in her flower garden, going to garage sales, and mushroom hunting and loved to spend time with her family. She was a member of Stewart Lenox Baptist Church.
Survivors include her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters, numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; grandsons, Chad Bates and Brett Strong; sister, Jane Moore; brothers, Maurice and Max Benedict, and her parents, Joseph and Jessie Benedict.
