41. Rev 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

Samuel Martin Allred Jr., passed away December 28, 2015. He was born on July 29, 1935 in Comanche, Oklahoma to Nellie (Nance) Allred and Samuel Martin Allred Sr, both preceding him in death.

Sam graduated from Pascal High School in Fort Worth, TX. He joined the Navy in 1953 and served aboard the USS Intrepid. While assigned in Corpus Christi, he met the love of his life, Felita Gomez, they were married 61 years. He was a member of the Navy League.

Sam was a machinist supervisor and programmer for Reynolds Metals for over 35 years. Being one the first graduates of the CNC programming school for Sherwin Alumina, he was one of 10 chosen to work for Reynolds in Perth, Australia as an instructor. He enjoyed travel and visited Rome, London, Paris, Hong Kong and Japan. He loved golf and spent many weekends playing in tournaments and local courses. Sam was gifted with an amazing singing voice and was co-owner of “The Spotlight” karaoke bar in 1994-1996. He found the most joy spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
