ABBOTT, James Michael “Mike” 60, of Apollo Beach, formerly of South Tampa, passed away June 27, 2015. He was born April 11, 1955 at Tampa General Hospital. His family and doctors endearingly referred to him as the "Iron Man." Mike devoted many years to Tampa Bay Little League as a coach, to his daughters, and the H.B. Plant H.S. softball team maintaining the field. His girls were the center of his universe. He was truly their biggest fan. He enjoyed collecting coins and model cars.
Mike is predeceased by his mother, Inez Abbott. He leaves behind his loving and caring wife of 40 years; three beloved daughters; a granddaughter; his father; brother; in-laws; two brother-in-laws; and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the Green Team of Life Path Hospice.
