Survived by children, David Sandy Jr., married to Annette (Weaver), Summerhill; Amy Dzura, Burke, Virginia; and Howard “Gus,” married to Terri (Galosi), Sidman; son-in-law, James Mehall, South Fork; grandchildren, Heath (Jen), Mara (Lee), Sara (David), James, David, Scott, Matthew, Mitchell, Nicholas and Julianna; 9 greatgrandchildren; sisters, Shirley Myers, Delray Beach, Florida; Maxine Chaney, Hollidaysburg; Joanne Primel, Parma, Ohio; Janice Lydic, Toledo, Ohio; and Billie Rae Moss, South Fork; brother, John “Ted,” South Fork; and numerous nieces and nephews.
June was a 1945 graduate of South Fork High School, she was a retired seamstress and lifetime member of Wesley United Methodist Church, South Fork; where she sang in the choir since she was 12 years old. Her family will hold dear memories of a loving, kind and generous wife, mother and grandmother.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork. Viewing will also be held at Wesley United Methodist Church from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Wednesday, the Reverend Arlene Bobrowicz officiating. Interment, South Fork Cemetery.
