Mary Hicks, Member #48433521 reports, "Sarah "Sallie" Hicks was born March 11 1879 in DeKalb County, AL and Died June 24, 1968. She was the daughter of Asell R. Hicks and his wife Mary Jane Self, who are buried at Pine Grove Cemetery, south of Henegar. She was married to George Henry Stoner, known in the family as "Uncle Pat. Sallie's dates were copied from the Hicks Family Bible about 1969, and were transmitted then by Manilah Hicks Lee to my husband's grandparents. I have Manilah's original letter. Manilah visited Aunt Sallie in the nursing home shortly before her death and Sallie told her a few bits and pieces about the Hicks family."
