DAINGERFIELD - Funeral services for Carrol Wayne Moore, 73, of Daingerfield, will be 10 a.m. Friday, August 28, 2009, at South Union Baptist Church with the Rev. Neal Clark officiating. Burial will be in Clark Cemetery. Arrangements are by Nail-Haggard Funeral Home.
Carrol was born January 3, 1936, in Daingerfield and died Tuesday, August 25, 2009, in Daingerfield. He was a member of South Union Baptist Church and retired from T & N Railroad.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Edward Joe Moore, Leonard Edward "Mert" Moore and William R. "Bud" Moore. Survivors include his wife, Annie "Mackie" Moore of Daingerfield; daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Larry Taylor of North Richland Hills; son and daughter-in-law, David W. and Vicki Moore of Daingerfield; brother, Lonnie J. Moore of Daingerfield; four grandchildren, B.J. Moore, C. Moore, Aaron and Kandi Moore all of Daingerfield, Jeff Taylor of North Richland Hills; and three great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today, August 27, 2009, at the funeral home.
