Pan Am Flight Attendant from France who was killed when a bomb exploded aboard Flight 103 en route from London to New York City while it was over Lockerbie, Scotland. She was from Croissy-Sur-Seine, France.

A fellow flight attendant wrote this on Airliners.net:

ELISABETH NICHOLE AVOYONE, also known as "Babette" was "everyone´s idea of a chic and charming Frenchwoman". Mother of a 5 year old daughter, she married her childhood sweetheart, who, at the time of their marriage was a widower with two small children. A 20 year veteran of Pan Am, she loved to entertain at home, and did so with much flair.
