Donald “Eric” Manning of Lindsay passed away Thursday, December 31, 2015 at the age of 37. He was born April 5, 1978 in Chickasha, Oklahoma to Donald Ray and Linda Carol Lail Manning. Eric lived in Lindsay his whole life. Eric attended the Lindsay Schools and played football, did weight lifting, and ran track for the Leopards in Junior High and High School. He graduated from Lindsay High School in 1997. Eric attended Mid-America Vo-Tech and became a certified welder. He worked as a self-employed welder and also owned and operated a truck for Manning Trucking. Eric was a member of the Erin Springs Baptist Church. His pride and joy were his two children. His favorite past times were hunting and fishing and he loved going to the lake with his family.
Eric is survived by his parents Don and Linda Manning; his children: Tristan and Peyton Manning; his sister Jamie Michelle “Shelly” Kirkland and husband Troy; niece Ashton Manning and nephew Todd Kirkland and great-niece Tyann Martinez and great-nephew Jesse Mainka.

Eric was preceded in death by his brother Jeffrey Don Manning; paternal grandparents Bill and Mae Manning; and maternal grandparents T.C. and Lucille “Toots” Lail.

Funeral services for Eric are set for two o’clock P.M., on Monday, January 4, 2016 at the Erin Springs Baptist Church in Erin Springs, OK. Interment will be at the Green Hill Cemetery in Lindsay, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of B.G. Boydston Funeral Home of Lindsay, Oklahoma.
