Luvola Frances Wisneski

Luvola Huffstutler Wisneski was born in Warrior, Alabama on Dec. 27, 1922 to Louis and Lorietta Huffstutler. After celebrating her birthday with some of her children in the afternoon she passed away peacefully in her sleep in the early evening of her birthday.
She met her husband, Peter M Wisneski, Sr, while attending college at the University of Alabama. They were married in 1943. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Home Economics in 1945.
Luvola was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, son Charles M Wisneski, grand-daughter-in-law Lori Wisneski, grandson Andrew Schneider, sons-in-law Philip Green and Barney Hartz, brother J. K. Huffstutler, nephew Ken Huffstutler.
She is survived by Daughters Sarah Green Denes (Bob), Frances Schneider (B.L.) Anne Hartz, and Mary Lu Latham (Keith) Sons Peter M Wisneski Jr (Diana), John Wisneski (Kathy), and Stephen Wisneski (Susan); Grandchildren Chris Wisneski, Shanon Heindel (Jan), Sean Green, John P Wisneski (Lindsey), Matthew Wisneski, William and Thomas Schneider, Daniel and Caitlin Wisneski, Mitchell and Matthew Latham, and Sydney Bosworth; Great grandchildren Alicia Wisneski, Victoria, Elizabeth, and Michael Wisneski, Dorian and Dalton Rittenhouse, Georgia Heindel, and Harper Bosworth; Great great grandsons Aiden and Logan Nunez; and by various nieces and nephews.
Luvola was a homemaker who raised eight children, moving numerous times residing in Alabama, Missouri, Texas, Kansas, returned to Texas, California, with a final return to Texas in 1972 where she remained until her death on Dec. 27, 2015.
Although she moved numerous times she was active in her sorority Delta Zeta, of which she was a 50 year member, and civic organizations in Overland Park, Kansas and Westbury in Houston, Texas.
A Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 10330 Hillcroft St, Houston, TX 77096, with a visitation one hour prior.
Interment will follow at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery.
