David Robert Glynn died Jan. 6, 2007.

David was born in Nowata, Okla., the son of Richard Edwin Glynn and Dewey Marie Rozzell Glynn on August 3, 1945. He graduated from Neodesha High School in May of 1963 and served in the United States Navy from 1966 to 1970. David attended the University of Kansas from 1970 to l973 and graduated with honors from the School of Pharmacy. He practiced pharmacy in Sedan from 1974 to 2003. During that period he married his high school sweetheart, Mary Martin of Neodesha, and from that union two sons were born, Andrew and Matthew. They later divorced.

On August 28, 2000, David married Candace "Candy" Harmon of Wichita. She preceded him in death on July 16, 2003, at her home in Sedan at the age of 48.

He is survived by his son, Andrew, of Tonganoxie, his son, Matthew, of Topeka, his sister, Sue Smith, of Neosho, Mo., his brother, Roy Glynn, of Rich Hill, Mo., his brother, John Glynn, of Ypsilanti, Mich., and his four grandchildren Abigail, Jackson, Audrey, and Hayden.

Memorial Services were held at the Sedan First Christian Church on Friday, Jan. 19, 2007 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggested a donation to the David R. Glynn Memorial Fund at the First Christian Church of Sedan, 204 N. Chautauqua, Sedan, KS. 67361.
