She married John M. Martin on Aug.23, 1952. They moved to Buckley in 1963 and she worked at Eddie Bauer making sleeping bags and jackets, and Farwest Garments both in Enumclaw. In June 1967 she started work at Rainier State School in Buckley and retired in 1997.
Arlene enjoyed motorhome travels with friend Gerald Whitehouse, gardening and making jams.
She is survived by companion Gerald; children, Lillie Mae Martin, Lloyd C. Martin, Georgia Toney; sister Laura Clark; 3 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband John in 1968; sister Donna Manning; granddaughter Carolyn Toney.
