James Harold Anderson Jr, 68 of Chapmanville, WV departed this life on, Friday, January 1, 2016 at CAMC General, Charleston, WV.
He was born December 29, 1947 in Logan, WV a son of the late James & Lowegene Anderson.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father and mother-in-law, Ira Lambert and Cindy Lambert Eskins.
Jim enjoyed studying the Word of God, going to church, collecting knives, telling stories and spending time with family.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Minnie Anderson; two daughters, Maria (Scooter) Farley and Sarah (John) Fouch; one son, James Anderson III; one brother, Stephen (Sandy) Anderson; four grandchildren, Amanda, Greg (Samantha), Brandon and Brianna Farley; two great-grandchildren, Cameron Farley and Carl Adkins; Stephanie Belcher, Stacy Basadre, Brandon Bryant and a host of others who were like his children.
Services will be held at 1 pm, Friday, January 8, 2016 at Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Hargraves officiating. Burial will follow at the Chapman Memorial Cemetery, Chapmanville, WV.
Friends may call Thursday, January 7, 2016 from 6 – 9 pm at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and nephews.
