Albert Halderson Funeral Services Are Held Friday
Valders -- (Special) -- Funeral services for Albert Halderson, 69, who died at Holy Family hospital Manitowoc, Tuesday night, were held Friday afternoon at 1:30 at Berge Funeral home and at 2 o’clock at the Valders West Evangelical Lutheran church, the Rev. R. B. Walden, Manitowoc, officiating. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery.

Pallbearers were Oscar Rouge, Swen Ellestad, Albert Severson, Oscar C. Thompson, Harry Schmidt and Albert Marken. Mrs. Gilman sang accompanied by Mrs. Albert Berge.

Deceased was born May 12, 1876, in Town Liberty, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Knuth Halderson. He was employed in Manitowoc as a wagon maker for some years. Later he settled on a small farm near here and spent much of his time painting and blacksmithing. July 20, 1901, he married Winifred Hanson of Manitowoc.

Survivors are the widow, four daughters Mrs. Alvin Skattelbo of Valders, Mrs. Henry Deckert of Billwood, Ill, Mrs. Lorraine Krueger and Mrs. Clarence Hoyer of Manitowoc; five sons, Alfred of Sheboygan, Morton and Oscar of Valders, Lt. Howard of Great Lakes, Ill, and Arthur of Manitowoc; his stepmother, Mrs. Mary Halderson of Custerdale; three brothers, Harry of Valders, Corty of Custerdale and Alfred of Chicago; three sisters, Mrs. Emma Folden of Norwich, ND, Mrs. Thomas Delebek of Milwaukee, and Mrs. Olena Knutson of Manitowoc; and 25 grandchildren.
