Phoebe Block Kinsey's remains were interred for a while at the Wilhelm's Portland Memorial [Portland Memorial Mausoleum]. Later, they were removed by family to unknown location by Wilhelm Portland Memorial.

Phoebe Block Skinner, was the daughter of Eugene F. Skinner, the founder of Eugene, Oregon. She was born four years after her father's Donation Land Claim was filed and a simple rustic home was built at the western foot of Skinner Butte in what is today's vibrant city of Eugene. Her father received Oregon Donation Land Claim, No. 857, at the United States Federal Land Office in Oregon City. Before that he had also made a claim for the same land under the Provisional Land Claim Act, No. 38.

Phoebe's father, Eugene Skinner died, on 16 December 1864 in Eugene. Her mother was later remarried. Phoebe was about 14 years at the time of her father's death.

Oregon Donation Land Claim, No. 857; filed at Oregon City in the U. S. Land Office, the claim located in the area of today's Skinner Butte. Filed by Eugene F. and his wife Mary P. Skinner. They were married on 29 Nov 1839, in Putnam County, Illinois. In the fall of 1846, Eugene, built a log home on the west side of Skinner Butte. He was absent from the claim from Autumn of 1848, to the last of Winter, or early in the Spring of 1849. He left to go an bring his wife back to the claim. Their claim was secured, on 29 May 1847.

Miss Phoebe Block Skinner and Mr. John Decamp Kinsey were married on 30 Aug 1868. Her husband was born 12 Oct 1836, in Kentucky and died, on 13 March 1881, in Eugene, Lane, Oregon. She was 18 years, 5 months, and 1 days old on the day of her marriage.

Phoebe Block [Skinner] Kinsey was admitted to Emanuel Hospital located in Portland, Oregon, on 08 March 1937, from an injury to her right hip received from a fall at the home of her daughter where she had been living. Her daughter, Mrs. John Rudolph Krausse, lived in N.W., Portland with her family. Phoebe Kinsey was never able to recover from the injury and died on 01 June 1937, at Emanuel Hospital. She was 87 years, 2 months, and 2 days old at the time of her passing.

Phoebe's daughter, formally, Miss Mary Louis Kinsey was married to John Rudolph Krausse, on 06 May 1892, in Eugene. He was born, on 15 Aug 1864, in Troy Grove, LaSalle, Illinois and died, on 26 May 1953, in Portland. Her daughter was born on 24 July 1871 and died at the age of 94 years, in Portland, on 31 July 1965. They had a son, first child, Rudolph Kinsey Krausse, he was born in Salem, Marion, Oregon, on 19 October 1894.

John Rudolph Krausse's parents were Christ and Elizabeth [Bessenen] Krausse both born in Germany.
Phoebe Block Kinsey's remains were interred for a while at the Wilhelm's Portland Memorial [Portland Memorial Mausoleum]. Later, they were removed by family to unknown location by Wilhelm Portland Memorial.

They had a son, first child, Rudolph Kinsey Krausse, he was born in Salem, Marion, Oregon, on 19 October 1894.

John Rudolph Krausse's parents were Christ and Elizabeth [Bessenen] Krausse both born in Germany.
