James W. Catalina - 1944-2016

James "Jim" Catalina of Houston, Texas lost his valiant battle with heart failure and passed away on January 1, 2016.
Jim was a loving and devoted Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Mentor. He leaves behind his Wife of 33 years, Sheryl Catalina, Daughter, Crystal Catalina, Son, Erik Fedor, Daughter-in-Law, Katie Fedor, Grandson, Hank Fedor, and Honorary Daughter, Sylvia Arambula. He is preceded in death by his Father, William James Catalina, and Mother, Lena Muse Catalina.
Jim's passion for business was unparalleled. He truly discovered this passion when he served as a Used Car Sales Manager at Bill McDavid Oldsmobile. After 18 years and a mastery of the art of sales, he decided to up the ante and take on entrepreneurship. He and Sheryl, founded Play It Again Amusements, and for over 20 years, he was able to do what he loved- chase deals and close sales, all the while thoughtfully providing for his family and making friends.
Please join the family for a celebration of Jim's life on Friday, January 8th at Forest Park Lawndale. Visitation from 11am-12pm and service at 1pm. Everyone is encouraged to share their fondest memory or story of Jim at the service or on the guestbook at www.legacy.com.
