Alethia Cornelia (nee Porter) Bentley, age 88, known as "Nim" Born on Dec., 13, 1924 in Yorktown, N.J. to the late Charles and Essa (Cheney) Porter, returned home and started her Eternal life early Sat. morning, Dec. 15, 2012.
She is predeceased by one daughter, Eleanor Wilson (aka Patsy) of Swedesboro, N.J., two brothers, Charles Porter of Pilesgrove, N.J., and Warren Austin of Paulsboro, N.J. She leaves to cherish her memory seven children; Wayne (Yvonne) Bentley of Mt. Laurel, NJ, Vincent (Veronica) Bentley of Carney's Point, NJ, Allan Bentley(Victoria Taylor) of Salem, NJ, Rickey Bentley Phila., PA, Albert Bentley of Salem, NJ, James (Antoinette) Bentley of Penns Grove and Karen (James) Bundy of Penns Grove, NJ, 23 grandchildern, 36 great-grandchildren, one brother James Vincent Porter of Pilesgrove, one sister-in-law Evelyn Porter of Pilesgrove, NJ and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
