PEKIN ~ Robin Brad Hansen, 59, of Pekin, passed away at 9:44 p.m. Tuesday, January 05, 2016, at Pekin Hospital.
Born November 22, 1956, in Waterloo, Iowa to Darrell D. and Donna D. (Evanson) Hansen.
He married Jean G. Pitsch on May 14, 1977, in Pekin. She survives. Also surviving are his parents; three sons, Ryan (Kelli) Hansen, Kris (Denise) Hansen and Mitch (Brandi) Hansen; nine grandchildren; one sister, Belinda Frankel and two brothers, Reed (Dianne) Hansen and Randy (Isa) Hansen.
Rob was a member of the Bethel Lutheran Church, in Morton. He enjoyed watching sports and was an avid Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bears and Chicago Bulls fan.
Rob had worked as a machinist at several area shops.
His memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at Bethel Lutheran Church, in Morton. Pastor Jeff Anderson will officiate. There will be no visitation. Inurnment will be in Prairie Haven Cemetery, in Pekin, where military honors will be provided by the United States Navy and the Tazewell Area Ceremonial Team.
