Betty Jean (Gibson) Eldridge, 75, formerly of Anderson, died Jan. 6, 2016, in Decatur, Ala.
She was born March 12, 1940, in Fount, Ky., to Abram and Ethel (Hammons) Gibson. She attended Anderson High School and was employed by Brookside Plating.
She is survived by four sons, Mike (Phyllis) Bragg, Toby Eldridge, Danny Bragg and Mark Bragg; a daughter, Missy Eldridge; sister, Paula Leathers; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donald L. Eldridge on Jan. 27, 2012; and her daughter, Theresa Whitehead.
Shelton Funeral Home assisted the family with Decatur, Ala., arrangements.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Pastor Phil Rogers of the Nazarene Church of Middletown officiating. Burial will follow in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the service Saturday at the funeral home.
