J. W. FROST
John William "Bill" Frost, 84, resident of Rt. 4, Galax, died in a local hospital Thursday, February 24. He was a son of the late Sid Frost and wife, Mrs. Mahala Wiison Frost.
Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Martha Frost, two daughters, Mrs. Hattie Stoneman, Carmody, Md., and Mrs. Irma Smith, Hearld, Md., and one son, Bolen Frost, Rt. 4, Galax. Funeral services were held at Leonard Memorial Methodist church Sunday at 2:00 p. m., by the Rev. Lonnie P. Shaw and the Rev. A. Carr Jones. Interment followed in the Ballard cemetery.
