Mrs. Lowe Funeral services were to be at 3:30 p.m. Monday at the Corley Funeral Chapel for Mrs. Deola Boyte Lowe, 71, who died Saturday at Memorial Hospital. The Rev. Peter Kach and the Rev. Maurice McLeroy were to officiate, and burial was to be at Oakwood Cemetery. A member of Memorial Baptist Church, she had been a resident of Corsicana all her life. Survivors include one son, Rufus G. Lowe, New Buryport, Massachusetts; two daughters, Mrs. Jessie Keele and Mrs. Loyd Nichols, both of Corsicana; one sister, Mrs. M. E. Sullivan, Corsicana; three brothers, C. C. Boyte, Corsicana; Andrew Boyte, Houston; and Frank Boyte, Ft. Worth; seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and a number of nieces and nephews. Five brothers preceded her in death: Leslie Boyte, O. D. Boyte, Isaac Boyte, Oscar Boyte, and Ruby Boyte. Pallbearers were to be Kenneth Danford, Walter Seamans, Terry Brown, Franklin Boyte, Billy Sullivan, Lawrence Boyte, the Rev. Edwin Boyte and Clifton Russell. The Rev. Melton Hair will be an honorary pallbearer.
