He was the son of the late Rev. Elbert Willis and Mary (Wheat) Willis; husband of Gwendolyn (Martin) Willis; father of four children; Aaron Willis (Andree), Jamen Willis (Nikki), Amber Hebert (Tim) and Ian Willis; brother of Randy Willis, Lori Willis, Angie Stoops and the late Lynn Ray Willis and grandfather of Liam, Samuel and Gemma.
He was the most gentle and selfless husband and father. An honest and moral person, always putting others first. He loved to sing, play the bass and listen to Led Zeppelin. His sense of humor always brought smiles and laughter to those around him. His joy for life was felt by all who came in contact with him, a man you aspired to be like. He devoted over 40 years to his wife and children, always putting their needs before his own.
The family will receive friends at Delhomme Funeral Home - Bertrand on January 13, 2016 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Visitation will continue on Thursday, January 14, 2015 at Family Life Church from 9:00 AM until time of service.
