Frances Beardsley, 79, went to be with her Lord December 13. She was a registered nurse with her Master's degree and taught nursing classes. Her joy was singing in the choir at First Southern Baptist Church, Del City, where she taught four year olds in Sunday School and children's choir, and ninth grade youth. She married Wilson Beardsley Dec. 21, 1946, and they were married fifty-nine years.
As a caring minister's wife she offered a listening ear to everyone with a need, praying for them daily. She was faithful and loving to her family, patients, friends and church.
She is survived by her husband, three children, Ellen Marciszewski & husband Chris, Jean Womack & her husband Rodney, David Beardsley & his wife Leanne, and foster daughter Janet and Curtis Garrett, and twelve grand children: April & Shannon Marciszewski, Jennifer & Adam Faulk, Jeremy & Jessica Womack, Juliet Womack, Brooke, Kalee, Kyle, Kaleb. & Jared Beardsley, Wesley Garrett, and great-grandson Cole Faulk. Justin Womack greeted his grandmother in heaven.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, December 16, 2005 at the First Southern Baptist Church of Del City with interment at Fort Sill National Cemetery.
