William "Bill" H. Albright, 65, of New London, Mo., passed away at 8:45 a.m. Monday, Jan. 11, 2016, at Hannibal Regional Hospital in Hannibal.

A Mass of Christian burial will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 15, 2016, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Hannibal. Father Mike Quinn will officiate. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Palmyra, Mo.

Family and friends are invited to Bill's Life Celebration at a visitation from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a prayer service at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 14, 2016, at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home.

Bill was born Aug. 13, 1950, in Hannibal, Mo., to John "Jack" S. and Dorothy Cook Albright.

He was married to Joan Shumake on March 3, 1973, at Blessed Sacrament Church in Hannibal, Mo. She survives.

Other survivors include four children, Judy Board (Michael) of New London, Mo., John "Buddy" Albright (Tara) of Monroe City, Mo., Robert Albright (Bethany LaFond) of Hannibal, Mo., and Jacob Albright of New London, Mo.; two sisters, Jackie VanHoose of Hannibal, Mo., and Johnna Whelan (Mike) of Stoutsville, Mo.; seven grandchildren, William Musolino, Madalin Board, Kaden Albright, Jaymee Thomas, Jackie Albright, Aiden Fishbeck and Grayson Albright; one uncle, Charles Cook (Sharon) of the state of Michigan; and several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. He is also survived by and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one niece, Missy Cable.

Bill retired as a machinist after 38 years with Gardner Denver in Quincy, Ill.

He ran the Southside Garden Center. He enjoyed gardening and growing plants and flowers in his greenhouse. It started out as a hobby and ended up as a business for over 32 years. Bill loved all sports. Some of his favorites were the St. Louis Cardinals, Mizzou Tigers and St. Louis Blues hockey, and his least favorite was the Chicago Cubs. Bill always enjoyed his favorite fishing hole at the bay, but his most enjoyable times where spent with family and playing with his grandkids. He was an active member at Holy Family Catholic Church.

Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church or the James E. Cary Cancer Center, in care of the James O'Donnell Funeral Home.
