Lloyd Edward Brandau, age 88, of Manhattan, passed away peacefully at his home with his loving family at his side.

Lloyd was a long time farmer in the Tinley Park area and in his later years, he farmed in Manhattan. He served in the U.S. Army in Korea, he was a member of the Cook County Farm Bureau, a Life Member of the VFW, Post 2791 and American Legion Post 615, lifetime member of the N.R.A. and was a lifelong member of the Tinley Park United Methodist Church. Lloyd was a hard working farmer, his work ethic could not be surpassed, he was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and his warm smile and friendly demeanor will be missed.

Visitation for Lloyd Brandau will be Sunday, January 17, 2016 from 3-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 18, 2016 at the funeral home with Pastor Melwin Alagodi officiating.

Interment with military honors at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood.
