Cornelius was known as C.R. Boone around the Deming community, he was one of the most widely known residents of Deming at the time, he was the Son of Paul and Nancy Estle Boone. On Feb./19/1876 in Hamilton County Indiana he Married Sarah Ellen Glaze, and together they had four children, they were, Bertha Boone (Walls)-(France)-(Ramsey), Bessie M. Boone, Edgar M. Boone, and Blanche Boone (Martin). Mr. Boone had conducted a store in Deming for the past thirty-six years. C.R. Boone and his wife Sarah were good friends and neighbors of my Great Grand-parents Jonathan Fremont and Grace Maude (Holliday) Holloway. C.R. Boone died at the Noblesville hospital at the age of Seventy-nine years old.
