Minden resident George F. Latter, 93, died Monday, Dec. 4, 2000, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney.

Services were held. Friday at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Minden with the Rev. Donald Becker officiating.

Mr. Latter was born March 1, 1907, to Fred and Hulda (Spors) Latter in Kearney County. He grew up in the Minden area and attended Minden Public Schools. On March 13, 1935, he married Angeline Peterson. They farmed near Minden. After retiring in 1972, they moved into Minden. His wife died in 1998.

He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Minden.

Survivors are one son, George E. of Minden; two brothers, Thomas of Minden and Gene of Burlingame, Calif.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, .
