89, passed away Monday, January 11, 2016.
June was born Betty June Wampler on June 14, 1922 in Billings, Missouri, where she met and married Wil Wagemann. Wil and June adopted two little boys, Bob and Dan. Early in their marriage, they relocated to Evansville, Indiana, and in 1968 Wil and June moved to Louisville Kentucky. After Wil's death, June married Dan Allen, whom she met in the Wayfarer's Sunday School class at Christ Church United Methodist.
June was preceded in death by her husbands and her son Bob Wagemann. She is survived by her son Dan Wagemann (Debbie) of Evansville, Indiana, two grandsons and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her friends Chuck and Karen Rapp and Ed and Clyda Crockett, who have lovingly taken care of her for many years.
June loved her church. She especially loved the music and the people of Christ Church, where she had been a member since 1968.
June donated her body to the University of Louisville School of Medicine for medical research. Her ashes will be interred at Resthaven Memorial Park.
