Angela Marion Weir
1963-2016
It is with deep sadness that the family of Angela Marion (Morton) Weir, age 52 of Amherst , announce her passing on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Upper Nappan, NS. Born in Fredericton, NB, she was a daughter of the late Douglas and Marlene (Jones) Morton.
Angela enjoyed spending her summer camping with her loving husband, three children and her three dogs, Tucker, Jasper and Kobie. She also had a very creative side crafting, quilting, crochet and making many wonderful goodies (no-nos) in the kitchen.
When she wasn't enjoying her many hobbies, she worked at Dayles Department store for several years up until it's closing. She loved the simple things in life, to her there was nothing better then a hot bath and a good book.
She will be lovingly remembered by her loving husband, Michael Francis Weir, her three children, Mandy (Jonathan), Brandon (Brittany) and Amber. Her wonderful siblings; brothers, Curtis and Brent Morton, sister, Denise Mayer (Yvon), 15 nieces and nephews and 11 great nieces and nephews plus her 4 grand doggers.
Arrangements are under the direction and care of Furlong-Jones Funeral Home, 70 Church St., Amherst, NS (902-667-8777). In keeping with Angela's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or funeral service by request.
