Richard A. Perry of 4916 Klein Road died Saturday, January 16, 2016 in the Absolut at Houghton Nursing Home. He was born on May 3, 1929 in Perry, a son of the late Darwin and Viola May Perry. He married Caroline Coons who survives.

Richard was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving from 1953 to 1955. He also was a Truck driver for 45 years for various area businesses. He loved farming, truck driving, snowball fights and his dogs.

Surviving in addition to his wife are their children, Brenda Lynn (Todd) Voss of Short Tract, Barbara Ann Deck of Caneadea, eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, a brother, Leon (Sarah) Perry of Dover, FL and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by two brothers, Lyle Perry, Glenn Perry, a sister, Ila Preston and a grandson, Paul Christian. (www.koplerwilliamsfuneralhome.com)
