Mr. Sullivan, 49, died June 14 from an apparent heart attack while driving that evening soon after leaving work at the county lime quarry.
He was born in Audrain County on May 7, 1941, to Benjamin Chapman and Helen Opal Sullivan. He was baptized at he Assembly of God Church in Mexico.
Preceding him in death were an infant son, Bennie Lee Sullivan, and his parents.
Surviving are two sons, John Leroy Sullivan and Robert James Sullivan, Jr., both of Rocheport; one grandchild; three brothers, Sylvester Robert, Bill, and Dean Smith, all of Mexico; eight sisters, Mrs Roscoe (Dorothy) Lear of Auxvasse, Helen Ann Golden, June Smith, Nancy Smith and Mrs. Wayne (Thelma) Rapp, all of Mexico, Mrs Kenneth (Becky) Poindexter of Wellsville, Mrs. Charles (Mary) Simmerman of Centralia, and Mrs King Arthur (Linnbell) Knight of Harrisburg; and nieces and nephews.
