Mrs. Jane Louise Angelique Wells, wife of James Wells, died on Wednesday morning at her apartments in the Dollard Block, Babylon, aged 73 years. Pneumonia was the cause of her demise.

The deceased's maiden name was Cabantous and she was born in Paris, France. She had resided here during the major portion of the past twenty years.

A goodly portion of the time that she lived here was spent at the old Westminster Kennel Club, where she assisted her husband in catering to the wants of the members of the club.

Besides her husband she is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Jesse Mott and Mrs. Isaac Muncy of Babylon, Mrs. Osborne of Brooklyn and Mrs. Bartlett Horton of Greenport, and three sons, William Wells of New York, James Wells of Montana and Joseph Wells of Babylon.

The funeral took place this Friday morning from St. Joseph's Church and the interment was in the Catholic cemetery.
