Obituary from Enid Morning News, 1 Oct 1992, p. A-8, col 2--Aubrey S. Handley--Waukomis--The funeral for Aubrey Sherman Handley, 68, who died Wednesday, Sept. 30, 1992, after a period of ill health, will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Henninger-Allen Funeral Home, Enid. The Rev. James Thomson will officiate. Burial will follow in the Waukomis Cemetery.
He was born Nov. 5, 1923, in Augusta, Kan. to Carl and Mabel Patterson Handley and moved at an early age to Enid. He and Lillian E. Semrad were married Aug. 17, 1946 in Enid.
Handley was a veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict. He worked in management for Acme Tool Company for 25 years, retiring in 1982, and was a 32nd degree mason.
Surviving are his wife; three sons, Terry D. of Pensacola, Fla., Jan R. of Blue Springs, Mo., and Gary A. of Edmond; his twin sister, Audine Stone of Minneapolis, MInn. and four grandchildren.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, Cancer Division.
