From Patrick Lincoln: This is Goldie Tarbell, born in Walworth county, Wisconsin. Daughter of John Tarbell and Sadie Tindall. John attempted to kill Sadie in 1887 in a sensational crime that was well covered in the local news. Goldie was my grandfather's older sister and lived with her aunt and uncle, Lillie (nee. Tindall) and Stephen B. Tarbell and later her father who changed his name to Algie. O. Tarbell and moved to Washington state, where he died in 1936. Goldie was also formerly married to Rolland C. Avery with whom she had several children.
