Loving husband of Myrtle L. (nee Magill). Father of Frank Schaefer of Cheltenham and the late Howard and Robert Schaefer. Brother of Anna Terry of Tabernacle, Delores Harris of Tabernacle, Jean Grygier (John) of Florida and Barbara Korelko of Tennessee. Brother-in-law of Bonnie Schaefer of Tabernacle and Laura M. Wolff of Deptford. Grandfather of four and great-grandfather of five.

Howard was a US Army Korean veteran. He retired from SEPTA in Philadelphia and was a loving husband and father.

Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing on Thursday, January 21, 2016 from 10-11am in The Chapel at BOUCHER FUNERAL HOME, 1757 Delsea Dr., Deptford, NJ 08096.
