Services for Louise Cooper Abrams of Greenwood will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Greater Restoration Church. Ms. Abrams, 86, died of heart failure Sunday, Jan. 3, 2016, at Greenwood Leflore Hospital. She was a native of Clarksdale and a homemaker who loved listening to music and fishing. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Henry Abrams, and two sons, Matthew Cooper and David Cooper. She is survived by three daughters, Virginia Howard, Luevine Cooper and Floretha Longstreet, all of Greenwood; a son, William Henry Abrams of Washington, D.C.; 18 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Friday at Great Southern Funeral Home and from 10 a.m. Saturday until the services at the church. Bishop Fredrick Adams will officiate at the services. Pallbearers will be R.L. Summerville, Freddie Hill, Trennis Swims, Dexter Swims and Dexter Sutton. Honorary pallbearers will be Ronald Howard, Vernardus Cooper, Marcus Cooper, William H. Abrams , Kendrick Miles and Rodrick Gibson. Burial will be in Hudson Park Cemetery.
