John R. “Jack” Antalosky, Sr., 78, a lifelong resident of Frackville passed away Monday at his residence with his family by his side.
Born in Frackville, October 3, 1937, he was a son of the late George and Helen (Brocius) Antalosky. He attended Frackville Schools.
Jack worked as a Steel Painter for 20 years and last worked as the construction foreman for the Frackville Area Municipal Authority for 13 years before his retirement.
He was a member of St. Peter’s United Church of Christ, Frackville; the Painters Union and Past President of the Local Carpenters Union and served as past president of the Shady Acre Rod and Gun Club, Big Pine.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by an infant son; three brothers George Antalosky, Ronald Antalosky, Sr. and Harry Trutt; a sister; Mae DeCastro.
Jack is survived by his wife of 59 years Ruth “Sis” Zimmerman Antalosky.
