Bonnie L. Heil, age 81, of Carrollton, MO passed away Friday, January 15, 2016 at Life Care Center of Carrollton.
Bonnie was born September 12, 1934 to Earl and Clara (Edgar) Leakey in Norborne, MO. On February 5, 1955, Bonnie married the love of her life, Clarence Edward Heil in Norborne, MO. To this union, they were blessed with three children, Kathy, Keith and Kevan. Clarence preceded her in death on March 8, 2014.
Bonnie graduated from Norborne High School in 1953. She loved quilting and gardening, but most of all loved being a mother and grandmother. Bonnie dearly loved her grandchildren. She was a volunteer for Meals On Wheels, Girl Scouts and 4-H. Bonnie was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church , Carrollton, MO and the Red Hatters.
Bonnie is survived by her daughter, Kathy Ann Johnson of Dallas, TX; two sons, Keith Edward Heil and wife Kelly, of Overland Park, KS and Kevan Heil and wife Brenda, of Blue Springs, MO; one brother, David Leakey of Hardin, MO; eight grandchildren, Tyler Heil and wife Heidi, Josh Heil, Ryan Heil, Ethan Johnson, Mitch Johnson, Kaley Heil, Kristen Heil, and Bret Heil; and one great-grandchild, Kylie Heil.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, one brother and six sisters.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 20, 2016 from 12:30-1:45 p.m. at Bittiker Funeral Home, 1201 North US 65 Highway, Carrollton, MO.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, January 20, 2016 starting at 2:00 p.m. at Bittiker Funeral Home. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Carrollton, MO.
