Mary Frances (Adams) Nebgen, age 79, passed away in the early morning of Friday, January 15, 2016 at the John Knox Care Center in Lee's Summit where she had spent the previous two months in comfort with her husband, Charles Nebgen, continually by her side. She was preceded in death by her parents Joe and Nina Adams, and her brothers Joseph and Donald. Born in Independence in 1938, she moved to Oak Grove where she met Charles during high school. They married in 1961 at the famous Bridal Cave in southern Missouri. She was first and foremost a devoted mother of her five children: Richard, Susan, Bill, Brenda, and Mike. Ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren were also among her many blessings in life. Besides her faith in Christ, she loved Manchester Terriers which she had since childhood, making quilts, playing and teaching piano, and piecing together flower arrangements for anyone's wedding.

A visitation will be held from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. Sunday, January 17, 2016 at Royer's Funeral Home, Grain Valley. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, January 18, 2016 at the funeral home; burial in Blue Springs Cemetery.
