Born on July 29, 1924 in Fulton County, Indiana she was the daughter of the late Richard and Elnora (Gottschalk) Patesel. On June 24, 1942 in Peru, Indiana she married her husband of 73 years, Vernie E. "Bud" Foster who survives.
Betty took great pride in being a homemaker and had also worked for the H.W. Gossard Company. She loved the outdoors, bluegrass music, and her time spent oil painting. Betty cherished the time she was able to spend with her family.
Surviving along with her husband "Bud", are two daughters, Jana Gerrard (Don Vitello), Logansport; Lynne (Hunter) Kyle, Concord, NC; three grandchildren, Jennifer Babb; Christopher (Tammy) Gerrard; Drew (Stephanie) Vester; six great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a special grandson in law, Dan Babb; one brother; and five sisters.
Per Betty's request there will be a private family burial in Mount Hope Cemetery, Logansport.
