HOLD LAST RITES FOR MRS. CORA FOCHT WHO DIED IN GRINNELL
Mrs. Cora Ellen Hart Focht of Grinnell, Iowa, formerly a resident to the Morton Mills vicinity, died Monday at the Community Hospital in Grinnell. funeral services were held in Grinnell Wednesday at 10 a.m. and the body was brought to Villisca and services ere held here that day at 3 p.m. in the Methodist Church. The Rev. E. M. Bueller was in charge of the services here, with Mrs. Buehler at the organ. The pall bearers were Lester, Oscar, Fred, and Lawrence Focht, Harold Hart, and Wm. McCraken, and burial was beside the husband of the deceased in the family lot in the Morton Mills Cemetery.
Mrs. Focht was born July 7, 1871 in Freeport, Illinois, and was 73 years old at her death. She was a sister of Mrs. Jennie Johnson of Villisca and leaves a daughter, Louella Focht of Grinnell, a son, Charles of Cedar Rapids, also three other sisters and four brothers.
