"Geneva, New York - Carlos E. Warner, a prominent lawyer of Detroit, died there last Tuesday, July 22d, aged 53 years. Mr. Warner was born in Orleans and was one of a goup of fourteen children born to Mr. and Mrs. Ulysses Warner. He was educated in the Canandaigua academy, and began the study of law in the office of J. P. Faurot, and after his admission to the bar practiced law in partnership with his preceptor. In 1872 he moved to Detroit, where he had a large practice. He is survived by his wife, two daughters, one son and ten brothers and sisters, four of the latter still living on the fine old farm."
