On Tuesday January 19, 2016, Gerald Dean Eubank passed away in his Fort Collins home at the age of 78. Jerry as he was known by his family, married his loving and caring wife Dorothy "Cozad" Eubank on June 15th, 1963 in Pierce, CO and later moved to Fort Collins to raise his family. He was a loving father of his two sons Scott Eubank and his wife Kay Eubank, Bryan Eubank and Lindsey Carmondy, his four grandchildren, Kyler, Mackenzie, Sydney and Brogan will all miss him deeply.

Jerry was born March 11th, 1937 to Ollie Mack Eubank and Elizabeth Anne "Burback" Eubank in Greeley, Colorado. Jerry the youngest in the family and was raised in the farm communities of Ault and Greeley with his brothers Leo Buxtin and Gene Eubank. Jerry lost his mother early in his life and became the family caregiver during her illness and passing. He worked in the fields during the day and then his dad would send him in early to prepare the meals for the family. Jerry was a passionate man with a strong work ethic.

Jerry attended Greeley High School and graduated in 1956. After high school Jerry joined the Naval branch of the military and was stationed on the USS Randolph an aircraft carrier in the Mediterranean Sea. Jerry was a HVAC mechanic aboard the ship and enjoyed his time in the service. He used that training and was employed by Colorado State University from July 1968 to 1992 when he retired from his position as HVAC supervisor. Jerry spent the last of his career at the CSU Veterinary Hospital which he appreciated very much. He loved being around the doctors, the professors, the staff and the students.

Jerry loved adventure including plowing the highways of Wolf Creek pass in southern Colorado and traveling to the 1962 World's Fair in Seattle with his father. His favorite trip was going to Hawaii with Dorothy, his brother Gene and wife Vernie, and nephew Gary and wife Leslie. Many road trips were taken in a 1966 F-100 with pickup camper. Jerry enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, scenic drives in the mountains, square dancing, reading and watching sports. He was a dedicated family man and rarely missed an event of his children or grandchildren. Jerry enjoyed life and would often be telling a joke or teasing someone. He often said if "I didn't like ya I wouldn't pick on you".

A celebration of life service will be held at Allnutt Funeral Service on Wednesday January 27, 2016 at 11:00 AM.
Inurnment will be in Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, Colorado on Thursday January 28, 2016 at 11:15 AM, staging area C.
