MARCH, ELIZABETH F. “BETTY”, age 84, of Chesterfield, died Wednesday, December 2, 2015. Born June 29, 1931 in Highland Park, Michigan to the late John and Lottie Bryczek March.

Betty, along with her family, was a partner of the J.M.March Mobil Station and March’s Package Liquor Store. The station and store was in business from 1936 until 1996.

She was a founding member of St. Thecla Catholic Church, was a member of San Francesco Catholic Church, was a Eucharistic Minister under Father E.J. Wilk (deceased) at St. Claude’s in Clinton Township, and the Marian Center on West Vernor Highway in Detroit.

She worked for the Blue Army Bingo at the West Side Arena, and volunteered at McLaren Macomb as one of the “Popcorn Ladies”. She was also a member of Lady of Fatima, and the Blue Army Macomb at St. Cyril and Methodius Church in Sterling Heights.

She is survived by her twin brother John M. March, Jr.; and sister Mary Ann March.

Memorial Mass Thursday, December 10, 2015 at St. Peter Catholic Church, 95 Market Street, Mount Clemens at 11:30 am (instate with a Holy Rosary offered by the Blue Army at 11am).

Cremation arrangements entrusted to the Harold W. Vick Funeral Home, 140 South Main, Mount Clemens, Michigan.
