Thomas, 65, of Owosso, passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2016, at Sparrow Health Systems - Lansing.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at Mowen Funeral Home - William A. Scarlett Memorial Chapel with Pastor Jason Georges and Pastor Cal Emerson officiating. Interment followed at Maple River Cemetery.
Thomas was a son of the late Lois Eva (Swan) and Frank Joseph Tejkl, II. Tom was a graduate of Corunna High School. He worked for the Bradenton (Fla) Water Department and Oldsmobile in Lansing. He was an avid outdoorsman, loving fishing and hunting. He was a former member of the Owosso Eagles Club.
Survivors include: daughter, Julie (Doug) Hetfield; son, Tom Tejkl Jr.; granddaughters, Amber (Shadoe) Nolph and Jody Tejkl; great granddaughters, Kenadee and Paislee; brother, John Tejkl; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Frank III, Bill and Doug.
