Rev. Florence M. (Suter) Stacey was the youngest daughter of Frederick and Sarah Anne (Boorman) Suter. She was the 1st wife of Rev. Hubert G. Stacey. They were married December 17, 1912 - "a few weeks afterward sailed with him for India where he was general secretary of the National Council of the Young Men's Christian Association. She served with him there for six years, at Naina Tal, Multan, Mhow and Karachi." Florence was granted a Local Preacher's license by the Rochester District Conference in 1922. She served County Line, Niagara Co., Rochester District, New York 1922 - Waterport, Orleans Co., Rochester Dist., New York 1922-1923 - Tonawanda: Grace, Erie Co., Buffalo Dist., New York 1924-1925. Florence died of pneumonia - went into high fever and delirium.
