He was born in Gardner, son of Paul and Petronella (Ambrosy) Grigas, and was a lifelong city resident. He graduated from Gardner High School, Class of 1935, and from Worcester Boys Trade School in 1937.
Mr. Grigas was a tool and die maker at New Hampshire Ball Bearing Co., Peterboro, N.H., retiring in 1985.
He served in the Army during World War II.
