James Louis Bunce was born in Salt Lake City, UT on August 6, 1942 to Lloyd Louis and Clara Maxine (Pearson) Bunce. Sherry Lou (Palmer) Bunce was born in Clovis, NM on July 20, 1944 to Theodore Roosevelt and Annie Mae (Ashley) Palmer. Jim and Sherry were married on March 10, 1965 in Clovis, NM. They were both self-employed owner operators of a construction business, and members of Whitewright Church of Christ.
They are survived by their children, daughter, Treca Boney and husband, Kim; son, Brian Bunce and wife Carrie; daughter, Tammi O’Rear and husband Glen all of Clovis, NM; daughter, Tedi Smith and husband Keith of Herriman, UT; and daughter, Doni Cash and husband Robley of Melissa, TX; 9 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Also surviving Jim are mother, Mary Jane Bunce; sister, Louis Chaffin and husband Bob; brother, Victor Hernandez and wife Ann Marie; brother, Joe Bunce and wife Sharon; sister, Valerie Lubitz; brother, Marshall Hernandez and brother, Johnny Olivas. He was preceded in death by his parents, and 3 sisters.
Also surviving Sherry is her sister, Sue Shultz and husband Hollis. She was preceded in death by her parents, and 1 brother.
